Just egt All-Season tires. I was annoyed at the fact I could not drive also.

The Toyo FZ4(ZR W Rated), Pirelli P7000 SS(Z Rated), or the Yokohama Avid H4(H Rated) will work great in our area. You really do not lose that much performance with the Toyos or Pirellis compared to the stock 17 inch tires unless you are at the track.

Man... I was zooming by all those waste of metal SUV's on their giant offroad tires. They couldn't hang with my IS. These BLizzak Tires are the Shiet!! I didnt even hear traction control come on all day today!

Best $600 i spent so far!

I hear you. With the Blizzaks I got, the traction hasnt gone on all day. I wasnt even worried. Wish it wasnt snowning though my car is all dirty and Im going to LQ's tonight.

I've got them - they seem good for light show. I've heard talk about them being noisy but I haven't noticed that.

The P7000 SS are noisy because of their tread pattern. So are the P7000 and a host of other Pirelli tires.

They have great performance though. I chose the Toyo FZ4 because they are quieter and I like the ride quality a little better. Both tires handle the snow fairly well, but from all that here the Toyo's can go a little deeper. Unless you push your car to the limit you will not notice a dip in performance with either tire compared to the stock Potenza 17's.

I always thought the toyo's wore very quickly. How many miles do you have on yours??

I just got them put on Saturday, but they actually have a 300 treadwear rating. Depending on conditions they should last anywhere from 35-45K. The Pirelli P7000 SS have the same rating. Compare that to most "summer" tires which have treadwear ratings between 160 and 200. I believe the Potenza's have a 180 rating, so do the Goodyear GSD.
