The aluminum insert in the back is nice.

Doesn't it seem odd that there are 4 seat belt's in a 3 person back seat?

I went and looked at the Sportcross today at Hennessy of Gwinnett. The nav is so well done (Michael gave me a demonstration), and the armrest is also a nice addition. I'm looking forward to making that addition to my '01 for the long trips.

Also, one thing Michael pointed out, is that the red lense for the main tail lights are different from the `01s. They have a 3D appearance and depth to them where if you stand back and look at them from different angles, the seem to have a sort of kalidascope effect to them. You have to see it to see what I'm talking about, but it's cool. Although, maybe that's just a prototype thing too. Who knows.

The full leather looked great too, but I can't say I'm sold on it. If I still had a choice, I'd stick to the escaine.

The grill had a darker shade of grey to it, and the paint job looked like it was melted on it. The "L" area also had some changes, with a sort of textured background surrounding it.

I thought the console area looked good going completely black. Definetely gives it a little more conservative interior, which is probably better for sales, but I think the brushed aluminum look fits the car too. But after all the reviews that have come out crying about the cheap plastics, it's probably a good move.

The smoked background in the clears was a nice touch, but I honestly couldn't decided if I liked them or not. My thought is it'll look good on the darker shades, namely black, but then again, I like the silver background too. Probably another marketing move if that's an available option since a part of the population have a problem with them as they are right now.

All in all, it was nicely done, and much better to see it in person. I think `02 owners will be very pleased with their purchase.
