Wanted to introduce myself as I new member here. I picked
an 02' graphite gray at my young age of 23 yrs. This IS is
something I deserved because I've worked my ass off for
years. I have a decent paying job for my age, and although
I don't pull a six-figure income I can appreciate working hard
for the finer things in life.

I've been reading alot of posts here lately on which exhaust
is the best. So far from what I can see everyone seams to like
either the HKS dragger, Greddy, or L-Tuned. What about Apexi?
I am looking for a nice exhaust to replace the stock, BUT one that
doesn't look like a coffea can on the back of my car. I found
the APEXi WS (WORLD SPORT) EXHAUST SYSTEM that has a
100mm tip that should be slightly smaller than the stock tip
which is what I like about this system. Anyone running this
setup?

100mm smaller than stock ? thats close to 4 inches (3.937 inches to be exact).. I dont think the stock tip is anywhere near 4 inches.. the stock tip is more like 3 inches..

Re:

I'm mainly buying a new exhaust for cosmetic reasons only. I doubt I'll get much HP out of new catback. Anyways I just want something with a nice polished finish and a smaller tip than the stock tip. Also looking for the quiter of the exhausts kits. Thanks for all the info guys.......

What he said. Blitz is quiet as well. Stock tip I believe is 3.5 inches. Blitz is 4, HKS is 4.5 inches.

I just put on the Apex-i WS a couple of weeks ago and like it better than my old Greddy. It's not to loud and not to quiet. You know it's there at wot, but when cruising it's pretty quiet. I had the Greddy for 2 years and got tired of the noise.

It fits and looks better than the Greddy. As Greddy owners know, the can is a little off centered.

As far as hp gains, I couldn't tell the difference between the Apex and Greddy.

Oh btw... If you get a racepipe, the can will be off centered to the right and the tip will stick out an inch more. The racepipe makes the car a bit louder, but not as loud as the Greddy.

I'll try to post pics asap. Hope this helps...

hi dave I am new to this site too. I use to have those exhaust on a 2000 v6 accord, but the car was total in a five car accident. Now i have a 2001 onyx is300. The exhaust looks great on my old car and it not loud at all. It is very quiet even when i revved up the car. I am planning on getting the same exhaust for my Is later. I think I came upon a picture of an Is with the apexi worldsport exhaust in the picture gallery of ClubLexus.com.
It looked really good on an Is to my opinion. Well hope this help in making your decision on buying the exhaust.
