OK I was getting ready to get a new laptop for school this semester... but after seeing pics of the l-sportline kit I've been sorely tempted to get that instead... the kit would be a little more than the laptop I was planning to get but not too much more. I could always wait until next year for a laptop, perhaps by then I could get the one I want now really cheap.
What do you guys think?

is this a joke dude???? If you want to be able to afford things like Lexi and Lsportline body kits you should get the laptop, work your ass off in school, and let the education pay for itself.

Ok let me clarify, I admit the laptop would be for more recreational purposes than educational. I bought a new desktop last summer, I was thinking of getting a laptop so I could take it to the library with me and have it handy and hook it up into the ethernet while I was "studying". My desktop I would then give to my sister cause that's how nice and generous I am. Besides I'm in medical school, I'm gonna be so much in debt by the time that I graduate that I'll have to work my ass off to pay back the education!

I like that, it was what I was also going to say. Even though I was not in the market for a lap top when I got my kit.

You have a PC, why buy another??? People today have to have PC's with the latest chips (gigahertz machines). Unless you are a chemical engineer or a computer graphics engineer, why waste your money. I was a MIS major and I bought the latest and greatest PC, and what did I use it for...Internet, MS office, Email, etc..all apps that you can get away with a slow azz computer..Don't buy into the marketing hype of the Intels and Dell's. Just my 2 pennies

If you're going to be in debt getting out of school take the money, drop it into a Roth IRA or other investment account and kiss it goodbye. At least it will have returns, where as the payoff from getting the body kit or the laptop would be negative.
