Has anyone used this or is it even out yet?
http://www.aempower.com/product_ems.asp

the one i am talking about is the "AEM gauge type wideband uego controller"

I searched and nothing in the forum came up and not much on google came up so i think its pretty new!

There is also a little ad about it in TURBO magazine on pg 104 March issue

does this sound like a good product?

Would this be better than have just an EGT gauge?

Thanks,

Kevin

it's not really an egt gauge.
it measure air fuel ratio and sends a voltage reading.

i think he means that is a/f reading a good substitute for egt. as a high egt usually means lean situation.

honestly i think a wideband o2 sensor will be of greater importance and usability than the EGT. with the wideband you get a direct reading from a separate sensor (included in this kit) about the condition of your fuel mixture. with EGT you just get a temperature, then you'll need to guess the mixture.
