I need tire size recommendations for:

17x7.5 45 offset 225/45/17 or maybe 235/40/17
17x8.5 45 offset 245/40 or 245/45 or 255/40

Car will be lowered about 1.5 inches all around and not looking to roll/shave rear fenders

Thanks in advance :)

215/45/17 or 225/45/17 in the front.
245/40/17 in the rear.
I'm running 17x7 +48 225/45/17 = front.
17x8 +45 245/40/17 = rear.
Installed Tokico HP/H&R = 1.5" drop.
I had to shave the passanger side rear fender 1/8".
I will go with 215/45/17 the next time I need tires in the front.

I hope this helps

I would go 225 and 235. You may still need to shave/roll the rear fenders. If you go with the 245, I am pretty sure that you will rub.

If you go with 225/45 in the front and 235/40 in the rear - the front tires will be a bit taller than the rears.
A 215/45 and 245/40 are very close to the same height.
Just take a look on Tire RAck before you make a purchase.
Like I said before " I wish I went with 215/45's inthe front instead od 225/45's"
