i have got codes c1225 co256 c0226c1251 c1246 c1223 some of these codes are related to the same abs issue i believe. I have changed out the whole abs module with a new one but still get these codes i was also wondering cause my brakes lock up after driving it a fair distance if i just do an abs delete with chase bays abs delete kit would it fix my issue with my brakes locking? or would it be better to just fix the abs issue. TIA

Have you followed all the wiring to all sensors down to the rotors. I wouldn't delete abs if I were you. I had my abs controller go out and barley stepping on the brakes it would lock up, abs helps a lot.

That's a bunch of codes. They point to angry front left, rear left, the pump itself and master cylinder pressure.

Personally I like ABS and would try to get it working - but it certainly can get very costly, very fast... Not to mention it can be rather difficult to diagnose.

I deleted the ABS on one of my IS300s because actually fixing it meant replacing both rear knuckles and CV axles.

You don't need a fancy kit to delete ABS. All you have to do is remove the ABS relay and fuse from the engine room relay box, and the ABS fault light bulb from your cluster.

I have not experienced anything like this after removing the fuse/relay as mentioned above.

I haven’t experienced this either. I pulled my abs fuse to test something a long while back when the car was still stock. I could not get the car to lock up without slamming on the brakes, even with a fully working vacuum booster.

That being said abs does help a lot when the car is locking up. Don’t delete ABS. Fix it.
