I have found a few things saying that you have no problem installing a cam gear with out taking the timing belt off... One guy put

1. Align the timing marks just incase
2. Wire tie the timing belt to the intake cam gear
3. Hold the cam gears with a spaning wrench
4. remove exhaust cam gear (slip timing belt off gear)
5. install new exhaust cam gear (slip timing belt onto gear)
6. remove wire tie on intake cam gear
7. turn the engine over 2 times by hand and check the timing marks
8. if the timing marks are still aligned you're done

which I know that you can't just do that and later on down the thread soneone else put

-Then using a breaker bar, remve the tension from the timing belt by squeezing the tensioner. If this step is done right, you will find a hole that if you put a screw driver or something that fits, holds the tensioner in the compressed position.

That's great and all but where do you put the breaker bar to release the tention at??
