Hey guys, so my clutch is beginning to slip, and I'm assuming I need a new one. I've been calling all over town and been getting estimates anywhere from $600 to $1600 for parts/labor.

I'm hearing all sorts of different advice, and Im worried to trust a Craigslist mechanic that will quote me way lower and then screw it up. Looking for a solid mechanic that you guys trust, could be in San Diego or LA. Thanks!
