Long story short..
Was dumb and didnt know any better went off and bout hids from a random guy. He gave me a whole kit with ballast and everything and told me they where D2R bulbs. Recently got new aacstyle headlights with blk housings. During installation noticed they where 9006 bulbs
issed: when trying to exchange the stock ballast into the new heads the ballast where all nasty smelled bad seemed as water got into and ate it up. The guy that helped me change the headlights told me once water gets on them they are as good as dead. So i didnt put them in the new heads. They look nasty i was wondering if the stock ballast are water proof and also if D2R hid kits with ballasts exists?
