OK here is what I got:

I paid lets say for arguement i will put everything is round numbers. Paid 34000 for my IS. Ok i put 15000 down. so that leaves 19000 to finance right. But I did a balloon lease. Ok my payments were like 100 bucks a month for 3 years. But I am paid off now. So I have paid. 3600 in payments. About 2000 was just interest. so that leaves me with 1600 equity. yes equity. you do have it in a balloon lease. so the residual of the car in 3 years is 21000. So I sell it for maybe.. maybe... 28000 so that is a net of what 7 grand. plus my 1600 equals almost 9 g's right.. Does all of that sound right or way off? any ideas? and if i do the same payemen thing with the 2002 IS Manual . lets say i can get it for 28000 and put 9000 down i will have same payements as before b/c im getting a 28000 car instead of 34 and im not putting 15 down i am putting 9 so that cancels everything out so it should be just like before????.. .does this sound right?
