Nope, just the fact that the right front tire loses air faster than the others (nothing serious)...but I only have 1300 miles on it. Lighter better keep working. I need it to run my tire pump.

no problem except for a dented exhaust (badly design road) and the weird transmission problem for one week. Right now the car is running great. I guess 10300 miles in 5 1/2 month explains how much I like the car, especially when my work is less than 20 miles away and school is couple miles from work. Still trying to figure out where the miles come from.

Please get that looked into. It may be something as relatively innocuous as a slow leak through the valve or as potentially dangerous as a screw or some other object lodged in your tire. I had a slow leak that turned out to be caused by a screw that had gone all the way through the tread. I was very lucky that I didn't have a catastrophic tire failure at the race track (I ran at least two track events with the slow leak before I had it checked out).

SBM 8000+miles since July 1st
dented exhaust (badly designed road)
10 Scratches + or - a few (2 medium/major, rest minor)
Broken undercarriage thing
Front Right Tire Bubble
Driver Door Pops
Clicking Noise occasionally heard from rear right by passengers when I get out of the car
#2 button on CD sticks occassionally
CD wouldnt work or accept commands (happened once, still freaked me out)

they told me bubble was result of pothole, i need to pay
same thing for undercarriage

everything else, only happens once in awhile, never duplicate at dealer, mostly annoyances more than problems.

Here are more of them
Clicking noise from somewhere inside the dashboard. (They are not able to fix them)
3" scratch on the interior (panel system)
1 chip on the hood
1 chip on the bumper
Weird transmission from 2 to 1. The car runs jerkely.
A lot of tar on the body that can't be clean off.
I don't know what to do. Am I here just too picky with the car? Or that's the reality.
But still, I am proud of my baby.

Rex you've had alot of problems but I think your the exception not the norm. I have to say though that my car does do one thing that is pretty ennoying.

Sometimes you've got to crank it awhile before it starts. I never had this problem with my Camry V6 but this engine doesn't seem to start as fast. Sometimes it needs two cranks to get it started.

Anyone else have this problem?

MY SBM is gonna go up for sale soon as well... I love it but i am dying for a 5spd. I guess I dont like GS-R's pulling up revving their engine next to me at lights. I actually am opting for the Navigation.. i dunno but it seems pretty cool to have... Anyone know the price of this at this time?

I can help clean your tar EASILY, use carb cleaner, the tar will wipe off, no elbow grease needed.I have done this with all my vehicles does not damage the paint. Best time to do this is when you wash the car, carb cleaner(in the rag), wash w/ soap, dry and wax area. That's it good luck, can't help u with the other problems.

Oh yeah I forgot to put anything about the paint chipping. Lets see, I bought a paint touch up kit 1 week after buying the car and it doesn't work that well. I have probably a total of 6 scratches on the hood. Two baby dents on the bottom of the hood. The rear looks great. And I got keyed on the left side of my car. But you know what. Its the best damn looking car for 100 miles. Ha

I think it just has a very slow leak...about 2 pounds a week. Had it looked at. There is nothing obvious. Probably wouldn't even find it if they tried putting the tire in a tank to see if a bubble came up.

Stuff that I've encountered with my IS:

1) occassional awkward noise when opening the driver-side door hard and quickly. (I open it more carefully now.)
2) spongy brakes (which has gone away)
3) got sideswiped by a huge truck which caused $3000 damage to my car and made me have to visit the chiropractor for a few months. (I'm feelin much better now by the way.
)
4) last week, the plastic undercarriage panel broke off because it is a factory defect. (it eventually breaks off when you travel at high speeds, such as constant freeway driving in between 60-80mph for about 2-3 months.)
I'm still waiting for the replacement part and I'm very angry at the lexus reps that are accusing me of hitting something to have caused that, when I know I didn't. And they still want me to pay for it! (I'm gonna have to smack someone over there).
5) Finally, the car is just too damn smooth and comfortable. It causes me to start daydreaming and lose focus from my driving. Anyways, the is300 is friggin badazz and I'll never give up, even with all those lil mishaps. It's Da #1 Stunnah (whut..whut whut?)

Luckily, I have had 2600 miles of trouble free driving. At first, I had some hesitation in the tranny - but that has worked itself out or I have gotten used to it and don't notice it.

No popping doors, no broken undercarriage, no paint chips, no stuck CDs, no broken dead pedals.

Everyone knock on wood for me, I think I just gave myself the kiss of death.

Totalled my first one.

Second one-
(1)Drivers side mirror cracked due to heating up on cold day.
(2)Got egged the first week I had the car in a mall parking lot.
(3)Always getting looked at by women distracting my attention from the road.
(4)My knees buckle when I see it causing me to almost fall.

Other than that, I'm happy camper. (How ugly are pontiac Aztecs).

Fully--sometimes mine does the same thing, and I have a warm underground garage in a large apartment building here in Los Angeles.
The temperature in the garage is usually at
least in the high 60s. However, I don't mind the first crank because I figure this
pulls some oil up on the cylinder walls and
rings before the engine fires, so even though
it may be a trifle annoying, I don't worry about it. I like to think there's a little oil on the walls before it fires, because cold starts are supposed to be where the majority of ring and cylinder wear occurs.
