ive noticed that in the last week ot two my IS300 feels sluggish and has a hard time getting up to speed or growls a lot more when i floor it... its been getting a little warmer and arid so im guessing it may be because of the engine sucking in hot-dry air instead of cool-dense air... also i had my front two tires changed... i think that may be a factor but doubt it...

has anybody felt a drop in power or does your IS300 seem a little less eager after a while ?

What octane gas are you using? I used 92 octane a few times and my car felt sluggish. If thats your case try using 93 octane and drop a bottle of NOS octane booster to get that nasty gas out! Youll notice a big difference!

i doubt you will feel anything with 1 octane difference in gas.. and is that "NOS" octane booster safe!? and as for hot weather, it could definately play a factor in decreased performance and part of the reason maybe pushing your car too hard.. this is my first lexus and not sure about quality of these engines when pushed, but last car i drove i am 90% sure that car felt sluggish after i drove it for a year or so because i floored it all the time. And i think proper "breaking-in" when the engine is new takes a part in later engine performance.. just my thoughts..
