Talked with SRT today, worked out my needs/pricing for stage 2, Talked with marken, (thanks erik) He is really a nice guy, very informative and helpfull with all my questions! We also did a pricing for stage 1, but with my location, stage 1 is not looking too well,(w/o intercooler.... )
They are really great @ SRT, I also heard a rumor of a STAGE 2.5.....coming out sometime....hmmmm...I also found out about the fuel tank secrect, which i didnt know about till today, with the turbo kit, the gas tall will say ur @ 1/4 of a tank but it realy means ur on empty...marken estimated 15-17mph=city and about 20-22hgwy.

From the info i got from marken he is really getting into the swing of things with the turbo kits, people are wanting/buying them left and right..... from doing the kits to the intakes, they stay really busy @ SRT BUT, they still take time out of there busy scheduels to talk with customers....so i give my expereince with SRT an A+!....All i need to do is get the cash and set a date to install/tune.....BOOOSSSTTT

My stage 8.3 is actually so powerful that my tank is empty when it the gauge says 1/2 full.

Thats awesome! Marken and Mo have ALWAYS answered the phone and willingly answered my questions. Their definetly on top of things now! The kits are turning out amazing numbers and are seriously cost effective. Keep us updated on your turbo situation!

There's a really good book if you want to read it. It's called A guide to building and tuning your turbo. I forgot who wrote it, but you might want to look it up or something. I found it really informative.

Thank you for your very technical response. I never knew that the compressor was hooked up directly to the fuel line, thus pulling gas out of the tank. Also I never knew that when I pump my gas, even though my car is off, the turbo pulls 1/4 of the gas directly into the turbo! WOW! :lol:

yeah im very happy that i will be doing boost, i will be able to make some final decisions by the end of the month.... , now just got to find a good time period with school starting along with getting all the funds togther, but the boost is not coming right away, but very soon, marken is very busy and i think he said backed up till october....(dont quote me)....but i am happy with my decision.....

Actually, sorry about that. i wasn't being specific. It only pulls it in when the car is on. The turbo fuel pump runs at the same time the normal fuel tank fuel pumps are on.

There is just too much misinformation in here that it sometimes just wants to make me get up and scream.

OK, this is why the gauge does what it does.

1)Everytime you fill up with fuel, the factory multiplex system (MPX) resets itself and takes its reading from the two levels in the tank.

2) Then as you drive around, the MPX thinks you have the 275cc injectors and calculates the amount of fuel used via the pulse width and shows the "expected" amount of fuel in the tank.

Sometimes you will notice that the vehicle shows about 1/2 tank of gas and in 5 miles or so it drops to near empty, that is because it just decided to reset itself.

We will soon release a do it yourself electronics guide to help the MPX reset itself everytime you start your car (however it will not help those that are on a trip and drive for say 3+ hours straight).
