I just thought it was cool how whaen I brought my IS 300 to the Dyno on Saturday (at a Mustang shop) that, unlike most people who are import vs domestic, they thought it was cool what I was doing to my car. In fact two of the guys at the shop are now considering getting an IS as their daily driver (and doing similar mods to me) and keeping the Mustang as their race car. I like when people appreciate all aspects of a car...whether domestic, import, cheap, expensive, stock, or modified. Just a thought for when people start arguing how their car is better than another car.

It's great when you talk to enthusiasts who:

1. Are familar with the construction and inner workings of cars to realize that they're not sacred artifacts.

2. Possess enough maturity to avoid extreme binary viewpoints, exhibit humility in their technical prowess, and know when/how to disagree politely.

2. Didn't buy their car as a penile extension.

i totally agree here...i've had all kinds of cars...my fastest track car (drag) was an 87 5.0 supercharged stang...not too many asians up here drive really fixed up domestics...well, the older ones anyways...

anyways, i value a car for what it is...what it's designed for...and for the potential the car has to be whatever you want it to be...

i think more people should be open minded to the fact that we all are auto enthusiasts...

back in the day when i used to ride sport bikes, there was a weird bond shared by riders...this was in phoenix and i thought there would be a big seperation between the harley guys and the sport bike guys...but to my surprise...it wasn't really that bad. i rode around and guys with harleys would give us a little nod or friendly hand jesture. i thought it was pretty neat. anyways...i like this point Accord is trying to make...can't we all just get along???

BTW...if you still insist on saying my car is faster than yours or whatevers...then i'll race you in my auto integra...17 seconds baby!!! i'll have to flat your tires first tho...
