(Can a mod please make this a sticky )

A bunch of local Supra members from www.nemkiv.com are going to be renting out Maryland Internationl Dragway for our 3rd time on Monday, october 20th. The MIR fee is $100 per person for about 8hours of open track time. If you have 12-16 cars its $1200 for the entire group and every car over 16 is $100 per car. We are expecting to have over 16 cars so the first 16 to pay will only have to pay $75 ($1200/16=$75) and anyone after that will only be $100 which IMO is still well worth it! We will need to get the full $100 up front even from the first 16 just in case less than 16 cars show up, but i see there being over 16 this time out.

My friend Oliver who has a supra na-t and I are putting this together and collecting the money up front as well to make this happen. We have 3 people that have given us the money already and about 3 that said they will send it. The last track event we just had everyone show up the day of the event and bring their money with them, but we ended up havnig a couple no shows and instead of it being $75 it turned out to be a little more per person so we had to come up with extra money so we could get in. So this time we are trying to avoid that by collecting the money up front.

MIR Drag Day

People are welcome to come and watch that day, however we would love to see some more cars come out and have fun with us. So far i've got 4 paid and still about 15 that are saying they will be running. If my supra isn't ready I am going to run my IS in stock form and see what I can muster out of it!

We have 10 paid cars as of today and have a few others that are "saying" they will be there, this should be a lot of fun and I hope some of the .NET can make it as well...sounds like doublins will!

Its $100 per car, if we get 16 or more cars it becomes $75 for the first 16 cars and $100 for every car over 16 (MIR rules). http://www.mirdrag.com/rentals.htm
