Hey I got an IS350 with Navi but non-ML package... is there any way to hack/mod the system in order to enable it to play dvd videos? It should be able to be done with the right software installation... I remember booting up a disc that enabled my dreamcast to play dvd's, why cant it be done here?

It can't be done because your stereo doesn't have a DVD player. No amount of software can change that.

I know there is a piece out that actually converts factory vehicle nav into dvd. The piece, I am not 100% positive, is made by peripheral. Google peripheral and there should be more details. But the piece i read is not not out til "early next yr or sooner."
