I was just wondering...

Are 99% of the cars in USA equipped with automatic transmission? You're really excited now that you're finally getting IS300 with the stick next autumn...

I saw some of you (who post messages here) haven't ever even drive a car with manual transmission.

I think it's closer to 80-90%. I read somewhere it listed % manual by car, and one of the highest in US was BMW 3 series at 40% stick. the IS300 is predicted to be 10% manual.

I wanna get the manual. I've only driven stick like 5 times, and i suck.. but hey.. gotta learn someway right?

I really wanted a manual. Had to buy an Auto since couldn't wait an extra year.

you're not the only one dood. but I probably have to wait longer since I know it will be hard to bargain the first few months of its release and I hate giving dealership the satisfaction of raping me by paying MSRP for their cars.
