Hey guys, im noticing that i get a sudden lurch at idle at times and the car bogs down to about 300rmps and then comes back up to over 1000 and then back to the norm about 750.
Also, i will notice if im just chilling on the road at like 3grand in 3rd gear and try to accelerate sometimes the car acts as if it is sufficating and then bogs slightly and when i press on the gas slightly more then it suddenly acts normal and goes...

It seems that when i move the Black box around near the ECU inside the cover, it acts up from time to time. I notice that it is more common on bumpy roads. I made sure that i sodered the wires correctly and securely, so i think that i can count on that not being the issue...

Anyone experience anything like this? Any suggestions?

All the help the better.
Thanks,
Bobby

Dude I had a problem with the soldering points inside the black box when i had my SRT. I acuaully went to SRT and Mo fixed it right up, but i would take the box apart and have a look to make sure all the connections are secure.

Dayum. It might be just that. It is just bothersome at times. I mean it even happens when im chilling at like 80 on the highway and im like damn, what if it stalls... LOL! Weird part though is that there is no Check Engine Light. However; that is a good thing!

Thanks, i might stop by and talk to Mo and see what he can do for me...

+rep bro!

Bobby

I dont think opening up the black box is a good idea that may void the warranty. Go over the obvious possiblities like a bad connection then contact SRT.

That's what i was going to do, but not open it myself, i was going to go to SRT and let them look at it, as for i am not going ot touch electronics that i know nothing about since i did not make it or modify it myself.

Thanks,
Bobby

exactly. you break that seal and you break the warranty. check the soldering connections from the install and send back to SRT if all else fails. u might want to try recutting and resoldering.
