Just bought my IS300. 02' Gunmetal Gray, Black leather/suede interior. 142k miles...but it had the timing belt, water pump, etc... done in 2/2008.

Also, the previous owner put 34k on it since 2/2008 (carfax), I figure it was a good deal at 6900$. I'm putting on a set of new tires (Fk 452 - $520) and after the registration fees ($600) it comes out to about $8k. Mechanic said it was tip-top after inspection as well. Thoughts?

I havent been able to find those good deals yet...
For some reason, CA is more expensive then everywhere else.
I actually see those types of deals ending in (NJ) the most.

Time to pack up and move to Jersey then!

I wish I was able to buy my car from another state...

03' Manual w/ LSD (clean title)
3M Clear Bra
18" AVS rims (with 90% tread on low profile tires)
TRD Sportivo Suspension
47.3 K for mileage
Suede/Leather Seats

$16.5K (private party)

Kinda pricey but that's how it is in cali...

I paid $5000 cash for my 2002 IS300, HKS axle back from original owner. They said if i waited till next week it would be 10k. They put all four brand new tires, all four brakes, new o2 sensors and Motul oil change. it is in mint condition.

I bought my '01 with 126k 2 years ago for $8800. It now has 178k, and still runs great. have replaced front wheel bearings, timing belt, front calipers, coils/wires/plugs, all 4 O2 sensors, minor exhaust work, etc...

I've been looking to sell it to get a newer white 5spd... I'd do 6k. It has brand new paint, and I'd prolly sell it with the rims (19" stagger) for like 7k.

Too much? Opinions? btw, the interior sucks BAD. burns, wine stains, ratty suede, etc. Needs a full swap.
