Buy a set of 17 x 8 IS(250/350) rims as the offset, centre bore, wheel nuts etc are correct, they are staggered tyres (front 225, rear 245 on 8 inch rims). Follow the picture below for what fits and still handles well. Max width for the front is 225/45 and the rear just rubs sometimes with 245/45, this is for a standard IS300 body. Can't have more offset on the front as rim will be on the suspension, can have a bit more offset on the back, but will be difficult to find rims with more offset than the Lexus ones. Wrong width rubber on the rim gives poor handling as does too much offset.
Hello, I have a set of stock factory chrome 17 in is300 wheels.
I bought the set for my gs300.
Was wondering what is the absolute biggest size tire I can run for the best ride? I'm stock height/suspension.
Is it possible to run 235/55/17? Stock tires are 215/45/17.
Not sure if this is possible.
So I live in a a place where potholes are not far off dams and roads are about as good as a mining site.
So had this wacky idea to chuck on some all Terrain wheels on my Altezza Gita. Basically would get 15 or 16 inch mags and put one some meaty tires.
Please let me know if this...
I'm tired of the staggered and stretched wheel setup I bought my is300 with and I've been looking to replace it with a 17" squared setup. I've had my eye on a set of superlites
but I'm wondering if anyone has/had...
Hi guys, I recently bought an 05 IS300 and i just got around to installing Feal 441 Coilovers on it. The suspension feels great and it clears everywhere where your hand can go in between fender and tire, but I still get a bad burning/melting smell in the back seats of the car. I even unbolted...
I've got everything coming in for a front end refresh and coilovers. I plan on spacing out my wheels closer to the fenders but getting the meatiest tires I possibly can. Looking at the fitment industries gallery it seems like most people achieve a nearly flush setup with minor/no rubbing and...
