as of now, they are doing a good job. brought my car in for service and they messed up my sideskirt when they raised and lowered my car. they said my sideskirt flexed, but the paint didn't and now the paint is cracked, but not the sideskirt itself. :pissed: the first thing they did was called me and said we will take care of it and repaint everything and will also touch up another spot where the car was scratched (not scratched by them) for free. :D they gave me a loaner rx330 to drive this weekend, but since i'll be in yosemite, the loaner will stay in the garage  . what a waste of a full tank of gas!!! Longo has its own body shop so I guess the work quality will be good.

too bad i already rented a van already....for 7 people
longo is a good dealer at satisfying their customers...

i brought my car in with a burnt clutch and flywheel, and in the end (after some talking) they gave me a new clutch, flywheel and slave cylinder for free.

however, they didnt do that great of a job, and my clutch still had a problem. so i went back, they tried to fix it, but it was still there...so i had to go back again...and this time they replaced my pilot bearing, master cylinder and hose all for free...and finally fixed the clutch problem...

this time however, they fucked up my exhaust. i think since i have an aftermarket exhaust, they didnt know how to align it right, so when i got my car back, my exhaust tip was knocking against my bodykit, and my exhaust was making a wierd noise (like it was leaking or something)...now that problem is still in the process of being solved...

so overall, they are a good dealership, but they have their problems too...

I had my free 5,ooo service done there, and have a free 10,000 card, but I don't think I'll take it back. Longo is alright, but I'd rather do it myself or take it to Steve at Luxury Motorworks. I have a rear speaker that vibrates pretty bad and they couldn't/wouldn't fix it. Its the speaker itself, not the housing. Its a pain to drive all the way over there again to raise hell about it, so maybe some griping to do at the Toyota headquarters here in Torrance or to Lexus itself, that vibrating is ticking me off. What was really cool about Longo was that they did know what I was talking about when I asked them if they could do the electrolisis to my Altezza emblem to make it black pearl and they have it right now doing that. Hope to get it back soon :p South bay Lexus and Toyota scratched their balding heads when I brought it up with them.

$20, but it feels totally worth it knowing its done right, it will have that Black Pearl shine and it won't chip away and what not.

yeah, that sounds just a bit pricey, unless you're getting the nav system. can't you push them anymore on the price? seriously, try emailing other dealerships asking for quotes. at the very least, longo should match the price quotes you get.
the is3 I picked hhad eshift. black. umms the full leather pkg? but no nav.. I wanna find 1 wit nav.. heh.. how much should I be looking at? 04 is3 auto with leather...

I've got the 03 sport design (full ash leather, sun roof, smoked tail and head lights and what not) and an LSD for the price I mentioned, and the dealer was saying he would go that low on an Black E-shift, full leather (ivory :p ) that had like a 33G sticker price. If your not getting Navi, don't drive out of there w/ an IS paying over 30 OTD. Being an 04, stress to them that a redesign is coming out for 05, so the 04 is already old news, and like Thundercloud said, and this works the best, call around and get quetes. I'm pretty sure I got the price I asked for because I gave the dealer another dealers card and said that he was offering a Sport Design $30 OTD (w/ out LSD though, but the dude didn't have to know that). I guess he figured that out any how and wanted $200 more and I said I wouldn't be able to get the car then cause I wouldn't be able to make the insurance down payment, so he dropped the $200. I basically got a free LSD out of it. Those guys make bank, so don't cut em any slack. Good luck and take it easy. :chill:
