im getting ready to install a lip spoiler on my car. its a been used before, so it has the 3m tape from its last owner. should i try to get as much of it off before i put on some more 3m tape ? has anyone tried using goo gone to get that off ?

ya goo gone will work and i would get as much off as possible and clean it before you instal it.
