Lexus theft is raging in Northern NJ

I can't tell you how pissed off I am. My car got broken into last night. I was even more upset because I live in a good neighborhood. What's even more pathetic is that my neighbor's IS300 got broken into the same night. They couldn't even get the door open, but they damaged the door and the lock. UGH!!!!!!Two of my friends also had their broken into within a month!!!!

The cops said that apparently there is an order out for Lexus cars.Mine was the 10th to get broken into. However, they didn't manage to get even one because of the key chip security system. The cops dusted everything for fingerprints, but I am very sceptical to say the least. So, watch out. Putting a club on might help the situation.

That blows big time. What part of NJ do you live in? What towns have these thefts and break-ins occurred???
LexArkana,

I live in East Hanover. We got hit a lot. Livingston and Roseland are also affected.

I gave you 5 stars because the incidents are a good 40 minutes away from me. If you said Bergen County, I would of had to give you 1 star for ruining my day.

I know this is pushing, but would you in your kindness consider paying my deductible?

I had mine *almost* broken into 3 weeks after I got it last August... Big screwdriver used to try to crack the lock, but the dood failed and then tried to take the whole door handle off (failed). Cost me my $1000 deductable

By the way, I am very sorry you live in Bergen County and have to deal w/ stupid crap like the Bergen Mall and Blue laws

Blue Laws suck! I needed something yesterday. I had to go to Willowbrook Mall. That place gets more ghetto everytime I go there. I hate it.

The "Bergen Mall" sux really bad also. They do have an awesome Oriental Grill there though...
My friend lives about 4 house from mine and we both have an IS300. His car got broken and mine was close to being broken into(thank god for those spotlight and car cover). It's a hot car so ...watch out boys and girls...Keep a club as much as possible.

Where in NJ are all of you guys from???
Now all the closet NJ IS owners are coming out. I knew there were more people here from Northern Jersey because I always see a sh#tload of them. F- the club, I suggest the 5-ft aluminum pipe, right soybomb??
i havent heard about that many lexus thefts around the short hills area. All i know is that the short hills mall is a gold mine for car thiefs. my friend got his brand new integra gsr stolen there, and my brothers jeep was broken into.
Not to be too pedantic here, but nobody's car was stolen (ie, theft), just broken into. I'm not saying that doesn't suck - it certainly does (my wifes car was broken into and our truck was stolen - twice). I just mean the topic was about theft, and there's no theft...

BTW, What are blue laws?
Blue laws i think are no worky on Sunday
... there like back in the 50's :p

I live in union, union county... I have a club but those things dont work for sh!t. You have to get the one that goes on your brake pedel
as long as you drive an automatic...

In Bergen County, there are laws put in place that businesses cannot be open on Sundays (there are some exceptions, i.e. restaurants). I think their original purpose was to protect smaller businesses. Large chain type stores could hire countless employees and stay open long hours, 7 days a week. Smaller businesses would have to stay open on Sundays just to compete and stay alive. The "Blue Laws" allowed these smaller companies a day of rest without the fear of shutting down due to lost business to the giants. I hope that cleared things up. They suck though...I have to drive to the next county if I need something....

Yes you are correct sir, I am in the process of upgrading my Aluminum Lexus Protection (ALP) device, and taking a break from modding the foreman grill. I'll keep the URL's in my sig for now on so you can stay updated on what mod's are being done.

No photos of the ALP yet, but here's the grill:

Anyone know of any alarms that starts spraying out smoke from the interior of the car when the alarm goes off? I heard of something called Dragon or something like that once but that was a long time ago.
