Lexus is giving me a new IS

After well over a month with no IS, the ordeal is finally over. They STILL dont know what the problem is (or so they say) but they are replacing my busted IS with a new one. Im going to be meeting with the Lex rep, and then picking it up later this week, probably tomorrow. Lexus has been great throughout this whole situation, and the dealership has been good too. I still find it hard to believe they dont know what is wrong with it, but oh well, I'll let the next owner worry about it

hehe a new car with no miles. One month without the car seems cool since u get a brand new one!!!

How many miles were on ur old one?
The old one had almost 4k miles. It ran great up until that night the problem started.

Also [flame suit on] the new one has already been sold. It will still be in the family though, so I will get to drive it whenever I want

I don't recall you saying which San Diego dealership you were dealing with. Just for your fellow residents, can you let us know, please?
I moved to SD AFTER the car messed up. I was still living in Texas at the time, so it was towed to a dealer here. Now that this is over, I can get out to SD and get on my life

what was wrong with it anyways?
I'm really happy for you. Lexus did right.

It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
