Live, from New York, it's...Saturday night? Nope, it's Friday night, actually, when Lexus is set to debut its Design Matters initiative celebrating its commitment to international design. An approximately 20-minute live broadcast will take place on Friday 19 April 2013 starting at 9 PM Eastern Time (6 PM Pacific Time), visible at Livestream.com/Lexus.

Our total dedication to it is something all together different" and a Twitter tweet that "(Lexus') commitment to design has no end but on April 19th, it will have a showcase" the sole clues of any consequence. We will note, however, that this Lexus Design Matters event was preceded by the February 2013 announcement of the Lexus Design Awards winners (whose work was exhibited at the 9-14 April 2013 Milan Design Week in Italy) and will be followed, next month, by the official reveal of Lexus' new global ad campaign, itself teased by the equally mysterious robot star of the Lexus in Motion: Coming Soon (a.k.a.
