I was reading an article in CAR magazine and they stated that Lexus cut prices 10% on the IS, GS and LS line in Europe. I don't currently have a Lexus, but I am seriously considering purchasing an IS300 and yes I have owned a new Lexus before. I have to state that because every time somebody questions the value of a Lexus on this site, a lot of people start this crap about oh you probably can't afford the car. Anyway, as I have stated before the IS is a nice car and just like all cars ie. VW, ACURA, BMW it has pros and cons. The one issue I take with any car is the value of the vehicle. Everybody pays a premium to drive a Lexus over a Toyota, but there are perks along the way. Perhaps the Europeon community doesn't perceive the value of the Lexus vehicle as much as we do in this country. This move by Lexus certainly does not help me justify the price they are asking for the car in this country and it certainly would not make me feel good had I just purchase one. Any thoughts?

To the contrary, the EURO has drops about 10% in the last 3 months which means Lexus is receive fewer yen after the currency exchange. So if you think about it, Lexus droped the price 10% and is receiving approx. 10% less after the currency exchange. Ouch, that is not good for profits.
