Hey guys,

Just bought the 2004 model couple of months ago. Love the baby. Even as I write the monthly car payment check.

I have the leather/Alcantara option (much Alcantara, not enough leather) in black. Does anyone have any good tips in keeping the seats clean and long lasting?

Clean and condition the leather regularly
I use Meguiars products

Creasing and fading are inevitable, so dont sweat it and just enjoy it :D

yea just make sure you clean the leather first, then put on a protectant. The first time i put on protectant i forgot to clean it and all the dust got stuck on. And the rear seats behind the headrests get crusty fast.

My advice is use leather wipes or a spray on product. I used leather cream and now my perforations are full of the stuff. I get to spend a day picking it out with a pin

One word, Lexol.

Lexol conditioner and cleaner will bring out the smell of the leather as well as not leave the leather surface all oily. Most professional detailers use them. Its a little pricey $8 a bottle from Pep Boys, etc. but its well worth it.
