It has become apparent that the 18" rims we saw on several of the manual IS300s will not be a factory option but...

You can order the TRD 18" rims as a dealer option. I know that Tustin Lexus and other SoCal dealers will offer L-Tuned IS300s soon (they were meeting yesterday to work out the details). Here is the information so far:

Options available:

body kit -front,side,rear and spoiler
suspension kit - springs, shocks, coilovers
etc.
wheels - 18" available with 225 40 18 tires

Word is the dealerships may have one full custom from L-Tuned or the customer can order what he/she wants (a la carte) then the process will be as follows:

Car goes from central distribution point (dock) to TRD
Conversions are performed
Car goes back to central distribution point
(dock) from TRD(weird)
Car is shipped to dealer

All mods will be performed at the TRD site, perhaps to insure consistency.

Options not to be available:
L-Tuned intake (no plans for production at all)
L-Tuned SC (Q2 next year)

That is the information I have from the L-Tuned contact. No pricing yet as they just worked out the logistics of getting the mods done. Enjoy.

I just got an email from L-tuned sales today and was going to post the following info. When I get here aust82 not only steals my thunder, but has much more information, except the reply I received addtionally refers to a free-flowing muffler exhaust. Anyway here is the message: Thank you for your interest in L-Tuned. The IS300 package should be available by this fall. The package will consist of a complete body kit, free flowing muffler system, suspension upgrades, and 18" wheels/tires.
Supercharger development has just started. Typically, it takes two years to develop a supercharger from TRD. Pricing is not available at this time. Please check our website for future updates.

Sorry Bro, didn't mean to steal your thunder. Just happened to talk to my L-Tuned guy this morning. Good news about the exhaust, I forgot that one. Makes sense cause they seem to be offering all the TRD stuff you can get (I am sure sways are in there too!) Always good to have more information from multiple sources. Thanx!!
