My remote quit working. To fix it, I've tried the following:

- new remote battery
- re-programmed the remote

I know the remote interacts with the car, because during the programming procedure it causes the door locks to cycle.

Any help would be great.

Went to the Lexus Stealership to see what they think, and it will cost $100 just to run a diagnostic test - not guaranteed to answer the problem. :pissed:

If it interacted with the car then it means it works but you did not program it right. There is a thread on how to re-program your key. Use the search function.

I've read all the threads there are about remote problmes backwards and forwards. I programmed it right, according to the DIY instructions.

I've read the thread about the fuse being shared by the dome light and maybe rear lights. Pulled all the fuses and they are good.

What part of the remote is not working? Is it the remote for the locks or is the immobilizer not letting your car start?
