I had this unit & a clifford alarm installed about a week ago. Now when i turn the climate control @ 70 degree and above the heater comes on. If you put it one tick below 70 the a/c comes on.. Anyone have a solution for this?

Unless they REALLY fucked up that install, it shouldn't have anything to do with your head unit. I have both, a Clifford alarm (well, a Viper), and a 7017, both installed myself, and I don't see how either one could affect your HVAC controls.

i believe it's part of your personalized settings that can be changed at the dealership for a fee.
