I have three paint chips in various spots,one on the rear trunk and a huge chip on the side frame.This after 8 mos.has anyone found anything further out why the paint seems to chipping so fast?

Join the club. I just found my first two. (8 months). Looks like there's a market for the touch-up paint.

I have 2 chips on the front of the hood.

On top of that, some jerk off hit my rear bumper, leaving a palm size dent on the corner of the bumper.
I did't notice it until I washed it and felt the dent a couple of days ago.

Why can't people see my bright YELLOW car????
I have no idea when it happened. Oh well, I guess this is the perfect excuse to tell my wife I need a NEW rear bumper/body kit!!
