Well guys i just signed my life away today on a beautiful IS. I have one question for you all. I ordered the Black on Black cause i thought the black made everything stand out more like the tailights, polished rims, ect...

please let me know if black was a smart choice since i live in chicago. I do get free car washes once a week for the life of the car at the dealer where i bought it though, but im more worried about scuff marks or more noticable things with a black car

thanks people and keep me informed!!!!!!!!

it seems like everyone just loves the blue mica but it didnt really do anything for me.

thanks
LuvindaIS

i guess you have never owned a black car huh??? well, let me tell you this much. i am speaking about my own experiences and not talking for anyone else by the way. but, black is one of the hardest colors to keep up with. in my opinion (depends on the car) it's one of the nicest, cleanest, shiniest(is that spelled right?), sparlkliest (heh) colors you can get. my supra is black and i love it...but, it's a bitch to keep clean. well, i work a lot so i have little time to care for it. but when you do keep it clean, you really can't beat it. i just hate cleaning the damn thing. i'm sorta a hint off a perfectionist when it comes to cleaning, so it takes me forever to clean it sometimes. here's a pic for reference, only had stickers for this event, took them off right after. damn stickers left some swirls too. i wouldn't recommend stickers on a daily driver too...

mycar

just my 2 cents here...

I have to say that you will most likely be very unhappy with the car. Black is the worst color especially in an Adam Henry town like Chicoga, get your money back and buy a VW VR6 and put a blower on it and then you can waste CLs Accords all day.

Well, I've GOT the blue and I already know I have to take it out and get lots of wax put on it. Black is worse to keep after. It looks great when just washed/buffed...but nothing shows the dirt more readily. People are saying that for the do-it-yourself there is no substitute for the Zaimo stuff for putting the show finish on it.
