If you want to go performance mods first I would get an intake or exhaust.
If you want to go looks first I would get a wing or a front lip. Maybe rims, but I have the polished 17's and I really like them so I'm not going to replace them any time soon.
I'd go with the TRD sway bars first. The intake and exhaust are good at the upper end, but the sway bars will affect handling at any speed. Then again, that's what I'm considering for my first mod
My 1st mods will be lowering the car for loks and handling. .then exhasut. .then sway bars.. then bodykit ..last would be engine mod... you wouldn't want to have a bodykit on at the start.. coz when mechanics add the other s mods.. ur car might get scratched on the kit for being low....
that's what happened to me....
but if you get ur kit later on.. will the colour spray of the kit be the same as ur car? my side skirts and rear bumper isn not perfect colour match with my car and the front kit (i got with dealer..)
looks like you got the silver...YES
im still the only Black IS on this board from the chicago area...
first mod will have to be the SRT intake. ive installed a couple already and it has been the best thing i have bought....
its like getting a whole new car all over again...
if you need help let me know..

Soon to be owner of Fullly loaded SBM/Black IS300 w/LSD and graphite rims... Already put a deposit on the car... picking it up in the beginning of the April... Can't wait!!
Congratulations! Good color choice too! Take care of it and it'll take care of you. Don't worry...the break in period will be over sooner than you think cuz driving it will become your part-time job.
Congrats dude. I know you'll love the car.
I agree, drive the car for awhile before you do any mods. Get a feel for the car first. You should never rush when modding your car.
