Have you all had good experiences with Johnson Lexus? I have been by a couple times to test drive, but I am holding out for the IS300M. Were you satisfied with the final price from Johnson? I am wondering if I should start talking to other dealerships in NC and SC? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Man they raped me at Johnson Lexus....I got nothing off the sticker price....I guess because i got it when it first came out...But i still love my SBM..I am trying to see if i can trade my lease in on a Manual when it comes out...I don't know if you can do that but i am going to try...Someone needs to set something up for our area..that way everyone can get to know each other...

Yea,
Johnson rapes people off of their cars...but, they do have incredible service, at least for me they did. I also got a Graphite Gray for the individual in Raleigh that got one. If we get more people, i'll definitely try to set up a time and date to meet up like the others that do in Cali. It's a token of appreciation from me. Peace until then

Yeah man ,there service department is the best i have ever seen..They must take a psych exam before they hire their employees, because they are the nicest ,most helpful people i have ever met... let me know about the meet because i am down...

I'm also in Raleigh, didn't purchase at Johnson and I agree that their service is pretty darn good.

How did you setup your ECU upgrade? Did they pretend they didn't know what you are talking about? I'd like to get the ECU and TRAC upgrades done when they replace my stupid undercarriage plastic shield that came off last week.

Check out Flow Lexus in Kernersville. Thats where I got my IS. I paid MSRP, but they had what I wanted and I got my IS a few days after the official release (6/27/2000, which happens to be my b-day).

If there is a meet setup, I'll try to make it if I can.

I'm out in the Durham/Chapel Hill area. I'd definitely be down for a meet if we can get enough people together. Spectra1, who did you talk to at Johnson about the ECU upgrade? Are you getting trac fixed too? I've gotta give them a call tomorrow and see what the deal is. They were supposed to call me whenever they got news about the upgrade, but I guess not.

To BigChell and Cisco guy i took my car in for an oil change and i talked to ?...Dang i can't remember his name but they do know about the ecu upgrade and i have mine scheduled for the 22 of this month...I don't think they have the trac update though..but the guy told me that the reprograming would take care of both of these...He didn't think they are two seperate upgrades ...he thinks it is just one software download..but i may be wrong....i will let you both know the exact name of the guy and i will try and post an exact copy of the work receipt...

Let me know about the dude's name, cause I'm taking my car in for the 15,000 mile check-up. Although I haven't really experienced the delay that much, mainly because I found out the best way to take off on the IS, I would still like to get the upgrade. Let me know. I'll holla at yall later. Peace.
