Are you buying from a dealer or private sale??? The car will retail for about $19,400 give or take. Private sale should be around $16,800 give or take. Check out sites that give price comparison such as Edmunds, KBB and so forth. Have the car checked out throughly before you buy.

Depends a lot on the region you live in .... up here in Ontario asking prices run from $15000us to $21000us for a 2001. Not many available really .... that may be why its so high. I bought mine at lease end in July 04 at $18.5K us but that was easily 5-7K under market price here at the time,,,,,Kurt.
