Hey guys, quick update, sadly the IS300 does have a gasket leak, the compression test did come back fine but I’m guessing that when the engine gets hot it expands enough to have coolant go into the 2nd and maybe 3rd cylinders.
how would would you say I can get out of this car if I were to sell it? It’s in very good condition.

Getting a head gasket job done can vary between places and shops. I would say at least $1000 at least. Definitely more than that.

As far as selling the car, that depends on the year, mileage, overall cosmetic condition.

Personally i would fix it, but that is cause i would do the work. The majority of the cost is in the labour of stripping it all apart and putting it back together again, but yeah its a PITA!

I love to troll because I dont take life seriously.

Having said that, you could always swap the engine out for a supra engine, slap a turbocharger with the cheapest emu possible (because, you know, budget) and make 1000 horsepowersez. Or a tornado supercharger.
