Hi all,

I just put in an order for an IS300 with traction lock option. This car will be a commuting car for me to work. Since the car is rear wheel drive, I just need some advice in terms of driving this rear wheel drive car in the rain or snow. Do I need to look at a front wheel drive car for this type of weather?

Thank you in advance

The factory tires should do just fine in the rain 215/45-17 Bridgestone RE040's.... In the snow I would just put a set of either Yokohama Guardex or Bridgestone Blizzaks... (both tires (with micropore technology) are outstanding in the snow). You don't have to get a front drive car, just downgrade to 16inch steelrims with the snow tires and you'll be fine.....
