Hello ladies and gents. I am building a NA IS300 for autocross and road racing.

I want to keep 17 inch wheels, and need some advice on which widths and offset some experienced road racers have raced with.

I am thinking of 5Zigen FN01RC 17x7+42 in the front and 17x8 +35 in the back for weight and conserving as much moment of angle as is possible. The track also remains stockish if a little wider. I dont expect the IS300 to need more than 235 width rear wheels with a 40 aspect ratio at a 240-250 WHP output.

What do you all think? I dont like the thought of going to a larger diameter wheel, which will adversely affect acceleration and handling characteristics.

Is a 16 inch wheel in order?

honestly if u are road racing i wouldnt do a staggered setup...id run the 17x8 all around, or even a 17x8.5 all around
