Just curious if anyone's scored any great any large discounts lately. Or whether stock is starting to add up at area dealers? An Illinois dealer called and said he "still had several IS's on his lot and wanted to make me an even better deal" I'd already gotten him to 2-grand off of msrp.

That is what I am getting from the dealers around the Los Angeles area. 2G off the MSRP for the car with/without the heated seats and LSD. But, with the moon roof and 17" graphite wheels. My thinking is that the sales is going to be slow for a while for the holidays. The price may drop if they can't push them out of the lot (people who wants one, has one already). If you can wait till next year, I am sure you will get a better deal. But, 2G off the MSRP is a good deal. I can't wait, I will get mine before the end of the year.
If you really want one, go to a dealer on like Dec. 30 and make an offer, end of month, and end of year, they'll want to push them out badly.

Here at Hendricks Lexus in Charlotte they are Sticking to the 34K.

Even though they have at least 25 on the lot. ALL COLORS.
But they also have ALOT Inventory of the other models too... LS430..GS430...ES300..RX300...
This is the Largest Lexus Dealership In North Carolina.....So Im sure they are suppling other Dealers with these cars...
Hence the Large Inventory.

Just curious, which colors does your dealer seem to have most of? Let me guess, Silver? Many Yellow?
Here in bay area, the price is still MSRP. Except for Solar yellow (which is the color of mine IS), you can get discount aroud $500 to $1000.

My wife called me an idiot when I bought the solar yellow. She said it looks like a taxi cab. She even joked that my IS300 looks like it was lifted from cartoon. But I don't give a sh*t.

I love this color.

Funny they are discounting yellow, don't they make fewer Yellow IS's you'd think they'd charge more if it's more difficult to find. Personally I think the color works perfectly with the is3's image.
Did anyone go through Priceline.com? or any other internet site?

I've heard good and bad about Priceline.com Just for kicks, try driveoff.com It immediately find a dealer and an exact price. The best in my region seems to be about 2-grand off of MSRP.
I was on the phone with my sales guy the other day and he actually recommended, with sincerity, carsdirect...
