I would try to do it myself, I dont know. First of all, I dont have a lift. Second, I've heard some stories of people having trouble with it. Well, I'll probably end up doing it anyway. I can hard wire my V1 while Im at it too

If the shop has a full lift--one that raises the car to the height of your head--then, it should only take about 25 min.

$150 is a TOTAL RIP OFF!

DIY man. It should take you about an hour or two. All you need is a floor jack and 4 jack stands. Lift the car (takes more time than the actual install) and go at it.

Make sure the remove the right front wheel...this will save you some time in trying to manuver the front sway off.

Good luck. :chill:

thanks for all the replies, I am going to do it myself with the help of another IS300 owner. It all ends up the same in the end and I save myself $150, some of which I can use on an alignment.

hey guys, just installed them with help from Anthony (AntzLexusIS), I know L-Tuned arent as stiff as TRD or Hitchkis, but I still feel a huge difference. Plus, I got them brand new for 260 incl. shipping. I love my L-Tuned sways, they rock. :D
