Hi. I am considering a few cars. The cars that i am seriously considering are the S4, the IS300, and the 330ci. I love the IS300. I want the IS300 in green or mica blue. The only concern is that i live in the NYC area and i am concerned about the snow time weather and driving ease. My cousin has the ES300 and he has no problem in the snow. My best friend has a LS400 and an ES300. No problem. Will the IS300 have any problems in the snow. I will change the tires if necessary, but id rather not change the tires if possible. I am also worried that i wil regret not getting the S4, due to the AWD and the 6 Speed Tranny. I am planning on getting the car in February March time. Please any thoughts will be kindly accepted

Did you consider the 330xi with AWD? At any rate, if you don't get AWD you'll definitely want to get snow tires. Even with traction control you don't want to mess around in the snow with RWD and performance tires.

By the way, you can't get complacent with AWD. Even AWD can't save you if you drive recklessly on snow or ice.
