Is it better to bring in the Invoice price to show the dealer to talk down the price?

How much above the Invoice price would be reasonable for the dealer?

will it be any cheaper if I buy the new IS from the Lexus outlet rather than from a salesman...?

soon to an IS owner, need you guys' suggestion and advice! : )
thank you so much, u wonderful IS poeple!

You could try shopping through the internet using AutoByTel or Cars Direct.

it really depends how hot the car is in your area. for example....the car isn't really selling as fast on the east coast as on the west, and dealers have cars on the lot. they are willing to only make 500-1000 on each car. in fact with the cash back incentives that lexus is giving, it is even possible to get a car under invoice. but in places where there is more demand you'd be hard-pressed to find a car for less that 2000 over invoice.
