Well after pulling out to the move car, a customer told me my inner trunk light doesn't work. I was like huh?

I tapped on the brakes and the inner trunk lights do work but they are NOT on when I have my headlights on and such. The bulbs are fine, the fuse are fine as well. Any ideas? Lamp failure sensor or anything?

It just looks weird just having the brake lights working but not the inner trunk with the city lights on.

Thanks

There is some type of bulb failure sensor on the left side of the trunk behind the lining. I seem to remember a thread on that. Try a search.

Up in Canada, the inner lights are used for fog lamps, are are off unless you turn on your rear fog lamps or tap on the brake. But I think I've read somewhere here that in the US this is not the case. But my point is, there is a whole country up here with IS's with inner tail lamps that does not come on, so welcome to the club.
