So ya know what sux - I live in MA - and i am driving around and my car starts shaking - like mad - feels almost like the wheels are not balanced - but i know they are - so i take it to Pepboys (cause they are the ones that put the wheels on my car - the wheels were already mounted and balanced but it was ****ty out so i decided to just have them put my car on the lift and throw the wheels on) - so i go back there cause it felt like maybe i needed to re balance the wheels or something - i checked the lugs and that was not the problem - and the tire pressure was ok - so i get there and they come out and they are like - WE FOUND your problem

and i was like what is that - and he said that "whoever" put the wheels on put them on wrong (the tires are directional tread) and the assholes put them on wrong - so the tread was going the opposite way - so i was like WTF - they turned them around and it still shakes a little - he asked me who put them on and i was like YOU ASSHOLE!!!! - so i talked to them today - and they are going to buy me some new tires - SWEET!!!-

don't ever go to Pepboys for **** - they suck - they always mess stuff up

just figured i would vent my frustration here

good day all

When I had my truck, I went to Pep Boys for new shocks. When I got home I noticed that they left the rear brake line hanging down. They also did not tighten the shocks to the frame. Pretty scary! My 3 year old could have done a better job!

I am going to hit them up - i am going tommorow to talk to the manager of the store about getting my new tires - they have been co-operative with me at least - i am going to see what i can milk them for

it baffles me how someone could make the dumb mistakes i have witnessed them make in the past - my bro took his jeep there for an oil change when they were doing his breaks - THEY PUT NO OIL in ? .. WTF .... and these guys are ASE certified - yeah from what ?? cracker jack box ?

Yes, never, ever go to Pep Boys or Midas for that matter. My sister took her Explorer in for new brakes, and the stupid fucts forgot to bleed the lines and the rotors were never reground. Miserable servicing.
