I just got a new Alpine headunit to replace my broken cd player. Since my '02 IS300 doesn't have a powered subwoofer like its competitiors, I decided to pick one up from Crutchfield. I ended up with the Infiniti BassLink II powered sub with a 4-channel amplifier that puts out 35 watts RMS to drive the speakers all built into the sub. I'm thinking of powering my front and rear speakers with the built in amp to get the best bang for my buck. How will this affect my factory speaker setup? Am I able to keep my front factory speakers without harming it? Will the rear speakers be able to handle the amp with its strange 4/2 ohm setup or will I have to bite the bullet and switch out the rear speakers to get the most out of the new amp. Any advice would help and keep in mind that I'm trying to keep it all as simple as possible.
