The latest issue of Autocar says the WRX can go to 60 in 5.7 seconds.

That should be fast enough that no one can get a good look at how revolting the front end looks. It'll be interesting to see if the car sells, being so ugly, it'll take a brave soul to plunk down $25,000 no matter how fast it is. Any takers?

Hmmm... Looks vs Performance. Unless the mtx version of the IS300 is noticebly faster than the atx version, I'm leaning towards the WRX. The Lexus/Toyota is undoubtedly better looking and more refined/reliable. On the other hand this fugly Suby is just too good of a performance bargain to ignore. Should be fun to test drive these 2 cars back to back.

Don't forget the AWD. It may not be a factor for all you folks in sunny CA. But for those of us in snow country it's a definite plus.

I think I'm leaning toward the scooby.
Hey who cares what the front end looks like. At 0-60 in 5.7, Most people will only see your tail lights!
