Bush

People kill people, not guns...need less gun control. Either way ghetto gangster punks are going to get their guns, why let the outstanding citizen wait for theirs...

JR300

If you leave a gun ****ed back, with a bullet in the chamber, then it is nothing but a paper weight...

Oh, OK. Good luck voting for the moron who said "More seldom than not movies gives us exquisite sex and wholesome violence which underscores our values. Every two child did. I will." Or maybe this is better: "It is time to ask the question 'Is our children learning'" or maybe "It is hard to put food on your family" or, if the foregoing is not enough "We should not use food. It hurts the farmers". And how about "people who said that I am going to be a bad president underestimated"?

Good luck to you people because you will need lots of it with Bush as the president.

And why would anyone vote for a man that never held a job until he was 40? A recovering alcholic that's dumber than his father(who if you remember SUCKED). And his outrageous claims of big tax cuts(don't you remember..."Read my lips...no new taxes"). Anyway if we had big tax cuts how the hell does Bush plan on spending more on the military? The only Bush I want is between my wife's legs.

Hey Doug, don't resort to name calling. You obvisouly have your opinion. Keep it that and keep the name calling out of it. This is an off topic and one that is fun to read, but don't be imature in your responses. Just because you are backing a canidate that has never had to prove himself in the real world and is a drug abuser and drinker does not mean he is the best choice.

Bottom line is that nothing ever changes. Taxes go up, that is fact of life. Expenses go up, that is a fact of life. Bottom line is I believe the country is better off now then 8 years ago. The 80's were a very tuff time. The republicans had the office for 12 years and sucked. Bottom line. No matter how much we go back and forth, we will all have our points and issues. Just be happy with your vote and we will see what happens.

And for the record, I pay less taxes now then I did 5 years ago, and I make a hell of a lot more! On your spout about eduation. Education has been a problem in this country long before Clinton took office and yes it is still a problem. It is a problem that one president can not correct. It is a problem that the entire family of the country must correct. It is an attitude towards education that bothers me. It is well known that schools up North are better then the South, why you ask? It is because the south is full of old retired people who never vote to support the funding of education. Up North is primairly a family community that supports the public education system. A president can not make a community support something they just do not want to support. A president can establish policy and support via programs and power, but bottom line, the citizens of the communities involved must take a leadership role in supporting the education of their younger people, and not take the attitude tha I am 65, 75 etcc.. I don't want my money going there.

We all have issues, and would like them addressed. Just keep the name calling out of it.

Doug, by the same token:

Unemployment -lower

Job market - better

Salaries - higher

Schools worse? - results on test are the same

Miliary worse? - based on what? Further, you want to make the military stronger (more training or more people?) - you gotta pay them more. We already have over 60% of social security attributable to military pension. I personally don't want to send any more money that way.

Social security worse? -well, tell it to the baby boomers. Alan Greenspan says neither Gore nor Bush can do anything about it.

As far as the rest of the stuff you are referring to - blame the Republican Congress for it. A president does not vote for law. He proposes and executes. Speaking of which, Bush's home state is the last in terms of health care and social security. What does that tell you?

Not flaming, just really feel bad that the idiot Bush will win.

Better yet, you want to vote for republicans, fine, do it when electing the Congress. But don't put a moron at the head of the government so that other countries don't laugh at us.
