If you reset your ECU, it usually takes an hour or less to relearn the driving habits. Usuallyc leaning your MAF adapter and changing your air filter would help with the problem.

Well I have an auto, but I don't think that would matter in this case?

I'll try to clean the MAF sensor, reset the ECU, and cleaning my air filter.

I heard this could also be the catalytic converter, hopefully not.
And maybe the PCV valve, which I've never changed and is probably clogged by now.

Gotta give the "reviver" props... he did a search, found some info, and related it to his own personal issue that he's experiencing with his car.... Everyone asks of this and most of the time no one does it.. they either ask a new question that may have been asked or blurt into random threads with the question that don't particularly pertain to the original thread.
