the mustang was a manual, but no matter -- by 60 or 70 mph the is300 had about 30 (maybe 40) car lengths on the 'stang.

i tried to chase the is3 in my cl-s, but couldn't catch him. i even went home and got my 951, and he still outran me.

Are Mustangs really that fast ? I've seen a convertible one with SVT badges a couple of times on my drive home and semi-raced it to 60, and won both times. I'm certain he wasn't accelerating normally.
